Disaster Aid Response Team
The Disaster Aid Response Team (DART) is an organization of citizen volunteers trained to support the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department (LGMSPD) and the community. DART is called upon to assist at local events, lost persons, and emergency situations which may include other communities and agencies.
Members are trained in first aid and handling medical emergencies, search techniques, emergency radio communication, traffic control, drones, technical rope rescue, and a variety of other skills. There are many opportunities for members to learn new skills or improve existing skills to include operating ATVs, UTVs and Drones.
As a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, all donations are tax-deductible. Funding for the purchase of specialized equipment occurs through individual, corporate matching, service group donations, and sanctioned fundraising community events.
